현재 제주 보리 농가의 대부분은 맥주보리를 재배하고 있습니다. 이는 제주도 정부가 보리 재배 농가에 

지원금을 지급하고, 수매를 보장하기 때문입니다.

그 이유는 명확합니다. 겨울철 모든 농가가 월동채소만 재배하게 되면 공급 과잉으로 인해 가격이 급락하기 

때문에, 재배 면적을 조절하기 위한 대안으로 보리 

재배를 권장하고 있는 것입니다. 그럼에도 불구하고 

제주의 보리 재배 면적은 해마다 감소하고 있습니다. 

이는 지역 농업의 지속가능성에 있어 중요한 과제로 

남아 있습니다.


mukk은 제주 보리로 만든 음료를 통해 이러한 지역 

농촌의 문제를 함께 고민하고, 제주의 농업 생태계에 

작은 보탬이 되기를 바랍니다.

Currently, most of Jeju's barley farmers grow beer barley. This is because the Jeju government provides subsidies and purchases them. Why? If all the farmers grow winter vegetables in the winter, the price of winter vegetables decreases due to oversupply, so we recommend cultivating barley to control the area. Nevertheless, the volume of barley resale in Jeju is decreasing year by year, which is a problem.


In response, mukk hopes that products made with Jeju barley can also contribute to solving problems in rural areas in Jeju.
